About Us

We are THE professional organization for dentists in Oakland County, Michigan and have been since 1931. We are not a paid referral service, but rather a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of the oral health of the public through service and education.

Approximately 75% of the dentists in Oakland county are members of our society. OCDS dentists have made a special commitment to uphold the ethical code, are subject to our peer review system, practice standards and missions of the Oakland County Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, and American Dental Association.

When you choose an Oakland County member dentist, you are afforded both protection and recourse in the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the care you receive. If you choose a non-member dentist, this assurance is not available.
